Iron Gate, Tulsa, OK
The challenge they faced
Iron Gate’s mission is simple, feed the hungry of Tulsa—every day. The ministry feeds people in three ways, through our soup kitchen, grocery pantry and Kids Pantry. After 41 years in a church basement, Iron Gate needed more and better space.
The new facility tripled the organization’s footprint. The new building on Archer features a larger dining room, a room for the grocery pantry, as well as more storage. The dining room comfortably seats 217 guests along with 48 in the covered patio area. This patio area includes a fireplace and an outdoor hand-washing station.
