Jarrell ISD Double Creek Elementary School, Jarrell, TX
The challenge they faced
As Jarrell ISD builds new schools to accommodate growth, they are focusing on creating outstanding learning facilities that are future ready, consume fewer resources, and are less expensive to maintain.
One way to meet those goals at the new Double Creek Elementary School is with an all fiber-based networking technology called GPON, or gigabit passive optical networking. The use of GPON decreases the amount of building space, power, cooling, and overall materials required to build and maintain the school's data network. A fiber-based network never wears out and is infinitely upgradable as technology changes. This state-of-the-art technology allows Jarrell ISD to deliver the best experience possible to their students while reducing costs.
The CRUX team has enjoyed working with Huckabee and Jarrell ISD on this project. We love to help our clients build future ready schools.
