Renee Edmondson brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to technology design for academic environments. As Director of Academic Tech Design at CRUX, she leads projects that bridge innovation and practicality, ensuring technology systems serve both the learning experience of students and the owner’s long-term vision.

Her work is guided by four core principles: listening, anticipation, process, and connection. Renee listens actively to clients to understand their priorities. By anticipating their needs and challenges and thinking several steps ahead, she ensures smoother coordination and better-quality design outcomes.

Renee is passionate about developing high-impact processes that help clients coordinate across multiple teams and deliver on time. Her knack for building strong networks across the value chain, from consultants to architects and contractors to manufacturers, drives collaboration and excellence from concept through completion.

Known for her willingness and drive to help people, she is experienced in creating standards documentation that aligns future projects with client expectations. Her blend of technical insight and empathy for the end user makes her a trusted partner for institutions looking to evolve how technology supports teaching and learning.

Renee is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer with BICSI and a Certified Technology Specialist with Avixa. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
