James brings over two decades of multidisciplinary design experience to CRUX, with deep expertise in architecture, audio/visual systems, and acoustic consulting. A Navy veteran with a background in architectural acoustics, James is known for translating complex spatial and technical challenges into clear, actionable design strategies.

At CRUX, James leads our Acoustic Consulting services, guiding clients through every phase, from evaluating acoustic performance to recommending treatment strategies and developing design documentation. His portfolio spans large-scale projects, including civic centers, universities, performing arts venues, and houses of worship, where he has designed integrated systems that elevate both functionality and user experience.

With an intuitive understanding of how sound interacts with space, James bridges the gap between architecture and technology. Whether it’s consulting on a new facility or refining the acoustic environment of an existing space, his work is grounded in precision, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering smarter, more responsive building solutions.
