Daniel specializes in designing customized audio-visual solutions that range from permanent installations for hybrid meeting streaming to upgrading multi-million-dollar sound systems for athletic facilities and more. He knows the business both as a technology designer and as a previous CRUX client. Today, Daniel puts his unique perspective from being on both sides of the coin to work every day.
Always looking to bring the best recommendations to CRUX clients, Daniel keeps up with the latest advances and trends in the Audio-Visual technology design field. The years he spent as a project estimator for a large regional Audio-Visual contractor enables him to find cost-effective solutions that deliver maximum value. He works as a partner with his clients, stepping into their shoes to thoroughly understand the challenges they face from their point-of-view. He then uses that knowledge to design systems options specific to their facilities and goals.
One of the most significant projects Daniel has worked on was for Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts, which is also where he began his career as a stage and Audio-Visual technician in 2013. This 141,500 square-foot facility in Mansfield, Texas, seats up to 5,500 people for performances, in addition to hosting graduations, banquets, and other large events. Daniel demoed the existing sound system and flew seven new speaker line arrays with 67 total speaker cabinets. He also converted all the venue’s powered speakers to passive ones, which are powered by two full-sized amplifier racks in the catwalks.
Daniel holds a B.A. in Mass Communication from Texas State University – San Marcos, as well as certifications in Commercial System Design by Crestron Electronics and as a Certified Technology Specialist by AVIXA.
