The challenge they faced
The new Discovery Lab features interactive exhibits and programs focused on STEAM and health & wellness curriculum. With over 200,000 visitors projected annually, the museum serves families, area schools, and houses the Tulsa Public Schools STEM Center.
The Discovery Lab is designed to be accessible to people of all ages and is surrounded by a very public space known as the Gathering Place. Keeping children safe while making it accessible took a lot of collaboration, planning and technology.
